Molten Salt Reactor Workshop at PSI - Safety, Designs, Diversity, Sustainability

Generation IV International Forum (GIF) signed in January 2025 the new Framework Agreement to continue the collaboration on fourth generation nuclear systems development. Switzerland is involved in GIF HTR and MSR activities.
The 39th GIF MSR meeting was hosted by PSI. On this occasion an MSR workshop dedicated to the national projects of the GIF MSR members was held. It included the country programs of EU, France, Korea, Switzerland, and USA, and presented also the collaboration project between PSI and Copenhagen Atomics.

The day featured key presentations, including:
